  • One-on-One tutorials
  • Differentiated instruction
  • Field & individual projects, internships and vocational activities
  • Online tutorials
  • Individualized examination schedules

We also offer tutorial and study support to students for the IGCSE and IAL board examinations. Our teachers are well prepared for teaching any international study program linked to the UK based GCSE & GCE curriculum  syllabus. How our program is implemented

Applied Learning is the key focus for our secondary learners and we implement this via a project based learning approach. This allows us to enhance student motivation, provide learner-centred instruction, and bring about a practical & real life application in their learning. It also offers opportunities for more meaningful learning, where students can explore diverse content and directly apply their new found knowledge. Cross curricular perspectives are an integral and important aspect of our secondary learning program, and we believe that making connections between subject knowledge, academic skills and other dimensions of life creates a coherence in learning and increases engagement and purpose for our learners.

Academic Learning focuses on Language Arts (English, Hindi & French), Humanities, Sciences, Mathematics & Commerce,  alongside which students can also pursue learning through independent passion projects and vocational internships.

Through both of these programs our teachers emphasise on work & study practice, which further equips learners with essential skills, attitudes and dispositions that will help them achieve life-long success, while obtaining the qualifications required for progression to tertiary education.

Study skills are skills all students use to study effectively, whatever their subject area. All learners have them and it’s really about recognising them, developing them, refining them and using them more effectively. At Buddhi a lot of the learning emphasises on helping learners develop skills such as – active listening, reading comprehension, note taking, stress management, time management, testing taking, and memoization.

Introducing study skills in high school is an important part of helping learners become successful and self-directed students. These are skills all students need to learn effectively, whatever their subject area. At Buddhi teachers help learners develop and refine key skills and habits such as – active listening, reading comprehension, note taking, stress management, time management, testing taking, and memorisation, which are all needed to learn subject and vocational knowledge successfully.

In addition to this, our teachers encourage learners to develop dispositions that are crucial to find success and growth in life. Some of these include (but not limited to)

  • Positive attitude – being calm and upbeat when things go wrong.
  • Communication – can listen and convey information clearly when they speak or write.
  • Team Work
  • Self-management.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Thinking skills (intellectual inquiry, problem solving and decision making).
  • Resilience
  • Leadership
  • Personal & Social Responsibility.

The Arts and Physical Education continue to be an important part of our secondary learning environment and learners are encouraged to participate in the sport opportunities available to diversify &  balance their learning experience. Our teachers also support learners engaged in extra-curricular training such as in sports and the arts, to further personalise timetables and instruction.
